Storage site
Recce form
i went to 'Storebox's' site in Sheffield to look at their site to see it it would be suitable to shoot the scene where the dead body and the kidnap victim are found. I saw two types of storage containers one full sized and one half sized.
Large container
The large containers offers a lot of space and the large door opening allows space for cameras to move around and achieve a variety of camera angles.
Looking into the container from the outside it appears very dark towards that back. Additional lighting could be required in some cases.
Half size container
The half sized container was a good distance away from the full sized container, which is ideal for the way the narrative is intended to be acted out
These half size container seemed to have better light for filming than the larger container, however the black wall at the back of the container still detracts the amount of light that is available.
Additional photos
The track leading up to the containers is spacious but in some instances may be to narrow this should be considered when looking at camera angles

Cons
- Confined space for filming so we must be careful not to have cameras in the shots
- Some signs may be detrimental to the believability of the story
Worksop ACF
Pros
- Easy to access
- good iconography for the scene
- utilities i.e. additional power available
Cons
- Posters may interfere with continuity
- Clutter will need moving out in advanced
Bars on the windows makes it look more like a prison and ads to the mise en scene.
a good entry/exit point with good view points isolated.
