I have followed the production proses that i intend on making by going through the 3 stages of production to make my production run smoothly and efficiently.
I started off in the pre-production stage, which include creating many pre production documents. i.e. treatments, script, storyboards and gantt charts etc. I started of at this point as it would lay the best ground work and foundations to allow my production to run smoothly. During the pre production proses i found it difficult to gain permissions to locations specifically office spaces. i also incurred issues with actors cancelling on me which is why it was important that all of my pre production documents were in order as it would allow me to have a contingency plan set out of an actor was to cancelled on me at the last minuet.
Production
During the production stage of my film I made sure that all logistical elements of filming were organised well in advance before all filming took place. i.e. actors were given ample notice before each filming session, As you can see from the screen capture of my messages confirming with my actors on the left. Also using pre-production documents i.e. script and storyboards to estimate the amount of time production will take on set to ensure that it would not inflict any of my actors or crews other plans that day i.e. work etc. Post Production
After filming the scenes i required to piece them together in pre production. To do this i use Adobe premier to edit footage and to apply effects and graphics and i use Adobe Audition to edit sound. This part of the production proses is very important as it allows me to follow out my story board and script plans to have the intended meaning on the audience. This is also important as without it continuity would be effected.
