LO2: Footage in the style & conventions of the chosen genre

Following the conventions of my chossen genre i compare my footage to that of the footage for products that are in a similar genre in this case 'Luther' as you can see i have chossen to uses close up shots to connote the intensity and severity of a situation.







i used the short clip of the police tape going across to give of a certain iconography of a police investigation and crime scene. Police tape also has connotations of danger.

I also used the short footage of the fornesics going over the scene and taking pictures gives of the impression that this is a real police investigation with many diffrent parts.  

I often used pairs shots when filming Derrick and Kieran together, to show a commradery and that they are partners and close friends.

To make my footage appear more cinematic and fitting in the styles of my choosen genre I added 'RGB curves' to ajust how the footage looked. My aim was to try and make the shadows more dark to give the footage more depth.
